Nestled on 43 pristine acres of mountain and meadows, the Humphrey Memorial Park & Museum offers a tranquil setting for visitors. Outdoor summer events include our popular "Summer under the Stars" series - plays, concerts, dance recitals, poetry readings, a writer's festival and more. Our natural amphitheatres and English gardens create the ideal venue for summer cultural events.

Inside the historic homestead, now a museum, the Humphrey family's treasures are viewed just as they lived with them. Each item that belonged to the family is still housed here nearly exactly as the last resident, Hazel Lou Humphrey left them.

During her lifetime, Hazel Lou attained national historic status for the buildings and envisioned that one day, her ranch and home would become a museum for the community to enjoy. With your support we will continue to share this wonderful home and ranch with future generations.

The Humphrey Museum is a non-profit 501©3 museum. We are funded only by contributions, tour donations and events. Your generosity and support is invaluable to us!

Music, Horseshoes, BBQ, Books and Cute Furry Animals!
What could be better!

All are Welcome at this FREE Event!

Join us as we celebrate summer under our gorgeous, new 60 ft. by 40 ft. tent. The new tent, purchased with grant funds, is available to rent for private events such as weddings, picnics, family reunions, barbecues, etc.

Many activities are planned for our June 7th Summer Celebration including the musical entertainment of Dr. Staller’s “No Longer Boyz” blue grass band, a handwriting (graphology) expert, a book sale, horseshoes and a barbecue.  The fun begins at 2pm and goes until 6pm on the Humphrey Museum grounds.  Admission to the June 7th event is FREE.  There will be a small charge for food, graphology and books sold.  All proceeds collected under the tent will go to benefit the Humphrey Museum, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Table Mountain Animal Center in Golden will be bringing their new mobile veterinary unit to the Humphrey Museum on June 7th.  This remarkable traveling unit carries a veterinarian and a support staff.  They are able to do cat vaccinations for $30 and dog vaccinations for $35. Photos of the mobile veterinary unit and more information regarding these procedures and their prices can be found on their website at:  www.tablemountainanimals.org or you can call the shelter at (303) 278-7575.  Proceeds from these procedures will benefit the Table Mountain Animal Center, a 501 c3 organization.  TMAC will also have some deserving, adoptable pets on hand.  We hope to find all of them loving, safe homes.

 Plenty of parking available.
