Do You See What I See? Presented by Beth Erland
Colorado wildlife through the eyes of artist, Beth Erlund. A
former zoologist and avid birder, Beth reveals what she sees through
her batik and encaustic paintings. She has been a professional
artist for the past 38 years, has traveled the world in search of new
imagery but finds the most wonderful creatures here in her home state
The Great Western Landscape and Architecture by Ken Pieper
reflections of our western landscapes and architecture has been
especially rewarding to me. The simplicity of a few aspen leaves, a
hidden mountain stream or lake, grand vista of the high peaks, and the
architecture of northern New Mexico has repeatedly drawn me into the
serene beauty of each. These pieces offered are of this deep and
reflective sense of place I receive from each experience.
Haunted by Water by Sarah St George
am fascinated by water: still, flowing, tumbling - all of its rhythms.
I love the challenge of trying to capture its essence whether
reflective or transparent. My artistic focus is to explore the
emotional impact of water using the pure pigments of pastels. The
paintings presented are a cross section of my work from reflective
pools to coastal scenes, and our own South Platte River. My landscapes
are an impressionistic interpretation of my love of the outdoors and my
passion for water.
